My name is Lina, and I'm a Producer with a creative background in field recording and audio storytelling. Most recently I produced for Outlook on the BBC World Service, interviewing with people from all over the world – Suriname, South Korea, Denmark – around stories centering on migration, family archives, and the diaspora experience. Icpreviously specialised in audio repair and digitisation from my time at NPR, and got my start in radio as a HAM amateur operator. I lead the oral history series 'Our Streets, Our Stories' at the Brooklyn Public Library and assisted the Making of Black Britain oral histories at the British Library. I've also worked as an audio engineer for interviews and oral history recordings - repairing audio artifacts to editing speech to create great sounding audio (but i'm biased to the sound of crackly archival tape!).
If you'd like to get in touch with me for your project or you had an idea you'd like to work on, I'd love to hear from you!
