I recently finished a 4-month experience in the WNYC newsroom and I briefly produced for The Takeaway. Also worked with NPR's Latino USA, Nashville Public Radio and with NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro for two years in Brazil. I’ve been reporting stories about Latino communities in the U.S. and I recently contributed with a ProPublica story in the Brazilian amazon.
Previously, I contributed to The New York Times and The Washington Post in Brazil, and I have byline at The Atlantic. I also have bylines in the most important Brazilian newspapers such as Folha de S. Paulo and O Estado de S. Paulo. Worked as a reporter in Tokyo, Japan.
I’m fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
