More about me
I'm a composer/singer-songwriter and sound artist-scholar who works in scoring, sound design, audio editing/production and mixing. I am deeply interested in investigating music and sound in interaction with other forms of media. I'm a queer multiracial Brazilian-American who grew up in Northeast LA, and my lived experience has led me to posses a very broad musical taste and a natural interest in the intersections of cultures, ideas and identities.

Recent projects of mine include scoring and designing sound for a documentary called 'Old Lesbians,' which will be premiering at Aesthetica Film Festival on November 11th, and mixing/sound design assistance for a sound art project for the job platform Indeed called 'Work Sounds.' Aside from freelancing, I teach private lessons in classical violin at RockS'cool Brooklyn. I also have experience in the industries of music marketing and sync use/licensing.

I am particularly interested in working with other QTBIPOC folks, and am only interested in news/journalism/politics work if it is in direct service of liberation and revolution. Some podcasts I like are The Heart, Ologies, Revolutionary Left Radio, Upstream, and Object of Sound. A few on my list of essential musical inspirations include Radiohead/Thom Yorke, XTC, Phillip Glass, Meredith Monk, Erik Satie, Steve Reich, Broadcast, 12 Rods, Little Dragon, Sampha, Arima Ederra, Big Thief/Adrianne Lenker, Twain, Jaala, Nai Palm, Jon Bap, L'Rain, Dijon, Anna Wise, Caetano Veloso, Novos Baianos, and Gilberto Gil.
