At the moment, I am looking for remote work, either full-time or part-time. My passion lies in creating more than it does in managing, so I would love the chance to spend more of my time and energy into creating more of the content that I speak about below. I also enjoy the editing and production process, as it is very creative and allows me to add any kind of dimension or element to a piece that is imaginable. I have access to professional recording equipment, Pro-Tools editing software, and a professional recording studio, among other things.
I enjoy using curiosity and believe this is one of the best ways to engage with audio when the goal is to add to a significant conversation, to encourage informed listening, or to expand one's knowledge. From April until September of 2020, I produced weekly interview shows both live and pre-recorded for a 3 hour morning slot, which engaged with local events and issues in an interview fashion, and also dealt with wider issues that took place on a national and international scale. I have deep experience in identifying possible topics and interviewees for them, as well as experts, knowledge keepers, and an eye for nuance that can springboard an interview into an engaging and unique conversation. Good and respectful interviewing requires preparation, so I also know the value of conducting research on a person, place, or issue for any interview. I also know how to edit, record, and produce quality sounding audio of any pre recorded episodes.
I hope something here has resonated, and please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions. I will be happy to answer any inquiries.
