More about me
I'm currently the Executive Producer for MSNBC's Into America podcast.

I have a particular interest in covering social justice issues; and my work seeks to encourage empathy, as it grapples with the complexity and the messiness of being human.

Previously, I was a producer with StoryCorps. Before that, I worked in Milwaukee as a Race and Ethnicity Reporter for Milwaukee Public Radio, and I also worked in the city as a producer on Precious Lives – an award-winning series about gun violence. I got my start in broadcasting while based in Washington, DC as a Reporter-Producer at the PBS NewsHour.

Beyond media, I've worked in international education and youth leadership development. I served as a facilitator with the 2017 International Honors Program‘s human rights course, traveling with university students to Nepal, Jordan, and Chile.

I have a joint-MA in Global Studies from the Universities of Leipzig and Vienna, and a BA in Public Policy from Duke University.
