Hi there! I am a Colombian-American writer, multiplatform editor, award-winning voice and creative director, award-winning poet, interdisciplinary artist, oral historian, award-winning multimedia producer, and freelance journalist.

My multimedia work has been distributed - or is forthcoming - via NPR, KQED, Jazz Night in America, BirdNote, America's Test Kitchen, Hark Audio, Wolf at the Door, Doha Debates, and SFMOMA; it has been screened and featured - or is forthcoming - at Tribeca, On Air Fest, San Francisco ShortFest, LA Independent Shorts Awards, and the LATINO Feedback Festival; it has included a Webby Award nomination, the Audience Award for Best Short Film by the LATINO Feedback Film Festival, the Bronze Award under the Best Documentary Short category by the LA Independent Shorts Awards (ISA), and the Bronze Award for the inaugural Signal Awards on the Individual Episode (Arts & Culture) category.

My non-fiction writing has been published - or is forthcoming - via the National Geographic Society, Scientific American, Skybound Entertainment, Audible, Doha Debates' Necessary Tomorrows, NPR’s Weekend Edition, NPR’s Alt.Latino, KQED Arts, The Creative Independent, Adonde Media’s Duolingo Spanish Podcast, American Geophysical Union’s Eos magazine, The Latinx Project at NYU’s Intervenxions, Podcaster@s, Rest of World, Revista Cultural Días Temáticos, Las2orillas, Biomimicry Institute’s AskNature, SFMOMA’s Proyecto Mission Murals, and the Orlando Sentinel. I have also been the non-fiction judge for the San Francisco Foundation/Nomadic Press Literary Award.

My fiction and poetic work has been featured - or is forthcoming - via on-off.site, Brushing Art and Literary Journal, Poets Reading the News, Revista Innombrable, Rollins College’s The Independent; it has been read and selected to be performed for an audience at SFMOMA, San Francisco Foundation, Nomadic Press, San José Museum of Modern Art, Play on Words, Beast Crawl Literary Festival, Speaking Axolotl, LITEROCALYPSE, and The Emperor’s New Prose; it has been supported with artist residencies at on-off.site and Elsewhere Studios; and have included a San Francisco Foundation/Nomadic Press Literary Award.
