More about me
I got my start in print journalism, and have worked for my college newspaper as well as a few digital media outlets. When I graduated college in 2018, I began to work in radio full time at KCUR, the NPR affiliate station in Kansas City, where I first worked as a general assignment reporter and then a talk show producer. I'm hoping to continue improving and expanding my audio skills, while still freelance writing on the side.
Topics I am passionate about covering include reproductive rights, criminal justice (specifically police violence), racial justice, grassroots activism, Midwestern/rural politics, and urban development in cities. I also love working on human interest stories.
