More about me
I'm a Palestinian-American journalist. I kicked off my career as a photojournalist in 2014. For two years I produced video packages for a digital news site based in D.C. before traveling to Jordan to work on an independent video project that highlighted the lives of Syrian refugees living outside Zaatari Camp. After returning from the Middle East, I joined the Houston Chronicle as a reporter, where I worked for a year, before taking a leap into radio at NPR. I've been with Al Jazeera's podcast team for more than a year now.
