I'm especially interested in cultural form and narrative cognition, and how our modes of sharing stories shape our understanding of and interactions with the world. I have a B.A. in English from UCLA and a M.A. in oral history from Columbia University.
Before shifting my focus to audio, I spent seven years as a film programmer at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and contributing writer at the LA Weekly.
