Hi, my name is Felicia Alvarez and I'm a multimedia journalist based in California. I'm currently working on my master's degree at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism.
For the last six years I've worked heavily in digital/print news, and now I am specializing in narrative, multimedia and investigative journalism. I strive to report on topics that both create and defend a sense of community. Whatever medium is best for that work follows after that mission.
I love working on projects that involve human-interest stories, law/justice topics and environmental news. I'm currently only looking for part-time work, and would love to bring my pursuit of the truth and empathy-driven journalism to your project.
