Andrea Henderson covers race, identity and culture for St. Louis Public Radio. She has also reported for NPR’s podcast Code Switch and produced pieces for All Things Considered. Andrea’s passion for storytelling began at a weekly newspaper in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Her appreciation for the arts allowed her to cover arts and culture for a number of Houston publications, along with the Post-Standard in Syracuse, New York, and The Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina. She is open to freelance reporting and production work.
