More about me
I have a decade's worth of transcription experience and can do raw and production versions of footage/audio and legal formats, etc. I can work with any digital file format. My prices and my quality are higher than the content mills - you won't need to get it redone elsewhere. (A good portion of my work involves cleaning up work from mills.)

I'm adept with accents and dialects such as: UK, Antepodean, Saffa (not great with Afrikaans yet but some), Asian accents in English (South and East), South American (English and Spanish), Central American (Spanish), European (English and Spanish), AAVE, Afrolatinx Spanglish, North American (English and Spanish/Spanglish), and I'm also adept with jargon from various professions and areas of interest such as: Legal (including Latin), to opera and ballet, to theater, music, art, film and television production, politics, social justice, organizing, makeup and hair, the occult, popular culture, writing, physics, wellness, and more. I'm good with music references from the pre-jazz age to now, across multiple genres including region-specific indigenous/folkloric and regional pop. I've lived in several regions worldwide and welcome cultural work that may challenge other transcriptionists.
Code switching within the same piece is not a problem. Please note any slurs will contain an asterisk for the sake of my soul.
I welcome work involving challenging topics.
I welcome work from LGBTQIA+ - you're safe with me.
I welcome NDAs/highly private work - no worries about confidentiality, including difficult areas such as therapy sessions/immersion therapy/violent crime victims.
I have chronic illness, and welcome work in that area, including medical content - no problem.

I reserve the right to refuse work that degrades or harms anyone, particularly vulnerable people, and that includes any work for the benefit of law enforcement.
If your work involves organizing or action against any oppression or exploitation of people (or animals, natural resources), I'd love to help. I regret that I cannot afford to work for free, however.

My ethnicity is Romani/Afrolatino and I lived most of my adult life in the UK, raised in Argentina and the US with frequent visits elsewhere. I now live in Detroit, and New York when possible.
