I graduated from college this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Identity Studies, and I minored in Journalism. I hosted my own radio show for four years while in college, and I hosted/cohosted four different academic podcasts as well. “Blackademics: Black, Educated, and Petty” is one example, and “Black By Popular Demand” is another example. I also have experience with audio editing. I was the social media manager for my undergrad for two years, and in that role, I also served as a social media personality, creating original content for Snapchat and instagram videos. I’m looking for a part time or full time job to jump start my career. I would ideally like to go into radio or television broadcasting because my goal is to have my own late night talk show on TV one day.
