Renaissance Lance is a Black nonbinary artist that specializes in live sound reinforcement, location sound, and post-production audio for film in Chicago. Currently they are the resident live sound engineer for Buddy Guys Legends and Chess Records, both located in the South Loop as the FOH engineer, with monitor operations on the Yamaha CL3. They also partake in playlist curation, music reviews, writing for radio, and poetry for expression. In their free time, they play punchy bass lines and dry-aching background vocals with their noise rock band, Bonehead.
