Stefanie De Leon Tzic is an audio producer in Washington, D.C. She is an intrepid producer intent on telling stories creatively. She has audio and video produced for the Smithsonian Digital Studio. Most recently, she scripted and produced the Smithsonian’s new Race, Community, and Our Shared Future video to provide understanding and contextualization as the nation grapples with race issues. She also had the opportunity to script and produce an audio experience for the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, covering various native American and indigenous exhibitions.

She has a master's in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California, where she focused on human rights stories. She got her radio chops as a fill-in producer at Southern California Public Radio, where she produced stories on race and identity, immigration, culture, social inequality, and politics. Her interests include politics, cultura, multimedia, travel, Scorsese movies, and dachshunds.
