Isabelle Docto

I currently work as a visuals producer for a TV newscast, but I'm constantly looking for part-time opportunities in audio storytelling. I fell in love with this format in university when my friends and I took an audio class and subsequently started a podcast called "Not Seen on TV". I've also collaborated with an arts collective and a photographer to create a photo-audio exhibit called "Wear We Came From" (these are all on my website if you're interested in taking a look!).

Since I'm part of a small, 3-person run podcast, we share roles in booking guests, hosting, editing and the overall production of the episodes. I have about four years of experience in audio storytelling and I'd love to collaborate on projects that allow me to keep exercising my skills in producing, editing, reporting, and hosting. I also want to learn more about sound design. I'm looking to be exposed to different formats of audio journalism, whether it's long-form, documentary-style, interview focussed, or a format I've never had experience in producing. I'm interested in topics surrounding arts, culture, entertainment, science, and food, but am open to learning about new subjects as well!
