More about me
After recording numerous friends and family members, I joined Storycorps as a facillitator in 2010/2011. Additionally I launched The Local Take with Kiplyn Primus a weekly public affairs show on NPR afilliate Jazz 91.1 WCLK. This show features discussions about critical issues facing Atlanta and profiles of organizations doing important work in the communities served by WCLK. As public broadcasters it is part of our mission to engage with the community and feature people and issues that aren't always covered by mainstream, commercial media outlets. From health to finance to cultural events and politics, The Local Take has become a source for the community.
I graduated from Howard University with a BA in English/Journalism and from Clark Atlanta University with an MBA in Marketing.
