Prior to that, I worked with LA-based indie podcast She’s All Fat, as the Senior Producer. My work entailed putting together production schedules, giving assignments to junior staff, editorial planning with our host/creator, scripting, booking, sound design, mixing - the whole gamut. While I did a lot of creative production work, my logistical and analytical side also helped me stay on top of production by being extremely organized. We had a devoted listenership of 15-20k listeners per episode, and I was able to sell about $20,000 in ad revenue for the team.
I’ve been in the audio industry for 12 years, starting out as a sound designer for theatrical productions. Throughout the last five years, I’ve freelanced in the podcast industry — mixing, mastering, editing, and producing. I’m someone who is highly collaborative and love working on teams with creative and driven people. My background in theatre sound design means that storytelling is my biggest passion and what ultimately drew me to the world of podcasting. Plus, I am extremely organized, can work on multiple projects at once, can manage my own time and consider myself a life long student & learner.
