Namila has worked as a producer on ABC Radio National's daily Mornings program, "Life Matters", has worked on air on 774 ABC Local and on ABC International.
In 2018 she took a hiatus to collaboratively write the memoir of Aboriginal actor and activist, Uncle Jack Charles. "Jack Charles: Born-again Blakfella" is due for release, via Penguin Random House, in August 2019.
