As a producer, I've primarily learnt how to tailor content to appeal to a diverse audience. Producing The Morning Show in particular, has taught me how to source and structure a wide range of interesting topics for the show, from civic issues and global trends to entertainment news. So, I understand the importance of presenting content in a creative way, to keep listeners engaged, informed and most importantly, ensuring that the show's content resonated with the public.
I’ve also had a lot of experience in briefing guests from diverse backgrounds and in ensuring they were comfortable before going ON-AIR. Additionally, I’ve produced a number of interviews and it's a process I've come to enjoy immensely. I've had the pleasure of producing interviews for both local and international musicians, this includes Ricky Kej, Ananya Birla, Ava Max, Katy Perry and more.
Aside from my work as a producer and show host, I've been heavily involved in creating engaging digital content for the station's website and social media platforms. So, I've learnt how to multitask efficiently and stick to tight deadlines.
I recently completed my Master's degree at the University of Leeds and I'm currently looking to explore the audio industry in the UK. If there's an opportunity to work as an assistant producer (be it in radio or the podcasting space), that would be ideal! But, I'm also open to internships, as my primary goal is to gain some work experience and brush up on my skills.
