More about me
Based out of Washington, D.C., Ngawang Samphel is a multifaceted producer and composer. With a background of being a self-taught classical pianist, former band geek, and performing synth-player, Ngawang can create music of any genre: from video game scores to electronic R&B to 80s-inspired-synth-wave-pop songs. He is a passionate artist with an open mind who constantly pushes his own limit.

Ngawang is 1/2 of production duo, Indiginis, alongside his brother Tenzin, an incredibly talented Motion Graphics Artist. Together they create their signature blend of Hip-Hop + Electronic + R&B + Videogame + Classical in a seamless and captivating manner.

In 2010, Ngawang got his first taste of scoring for animation by creating original music for The Lighthouse Girl, a beautiful post-Anime design style short film created by Jenna Smith and Ryan Miller.

In 2015, Ngawang and Tenzin spent some time at Skywalker Sound, both working on the production of an album which was a collaboration between a multi-platinum EDM recording artist and an award-winning composer. It was there that they learned industry-standards and studio professionalism: a true driving force in Ngawang’s dream to pursue music as a full-time career.

In addition to music, Ngawang has immersed himself in film photography and videography.
