Hello!
I'm Rasheeda, and I am interested in work that will allow me to be in a creative environment. I graduated from St. John's University in 2019. I majored in journalism and minored in African studies. While in college I wrote opinion articles for my university's newspaper, and articles for The Odyssey Online. I had a marketing internship at Agent-cy Online Marketing Company, an internship as a content writer and quiz creator for the website Quibbl, and an internship at Rainbowwave for New York's Spring Fashion Week. I am a passionate writer and a comedy enthusiast, which is why I enjoy writing satire and humorous pieces. I am also a fashion-obsessed audiophile, so fashion and music are other interests I have. I would like to have a job that will allow me to utilize the skills I already have but will also present me with many opportunities to learn and gain new skills. Although I have five years of experience in writing for online and print, I do have some experience in audio and video. I am very interested in receiving more experience in these two areas. I am looking for any type of work whether it be part-time or full-time. I am reliable, punctual, hard-working, detail-oriented, a quick thinker, and packed full of energy so working on my feet all day would not be a problem if required. I am interested in doing anything related to audio, video, reporting, writing, speaking, interviewing, researching, and documenting.
