More about me
I’m a former radio host / producer from Toronto who currently resides in Brooklyn. My wife works in NYC and I spent the past few years traveling back and forth between Toronto and the U.S. In 2022, we got approved for our Green Cards and are planning to settle here permanently.

Thus, the job search...

I’ve worked in audio for over 20 years. I’m an award-winning mix engineer and went on to host / produce “OTA Live” on FLOW 93.5 FM aka “Toronto’s most beloved radio show” (VICE). The main segment on our show was a weekly 30-45 minute artist documentary called “The Unauthorized Biography”. Today, people say to me, “Y’all were podcasts before podcasts”. To which I like to reply, “Nah, podcasts are just radio”.

Since 2020 I’ve been lucky to have exciting work in the podcast space. I produced and edited several documentaries including “Mixtape Wars” (Endeavor Content), a series about the history of hip-hop mixtapes hosted by Sway Calloway, “Highly Legal” (Audible), a show about Cannabis legalization in Canada and hosted by Jay Baruchel, and episodes of “Art Bust – Scandalous Stories of the Art World” (USG Audio) hosted by Ben Lewis. Most recently, I edited / mixed “Just Transition” hosted by Iman Amrani for the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

I’ve also been lucky to be part of interview-driven and socially forward-thinking shows like “Don’t Call Me Resilient” for The Conversation Canada and “Change Conversations” hosted by Emmanuel Acho. In short, I come to the U.S. job market eager, fresh faced and ready to get my name out there. But unlike most new recruits, I arrive with a tonne of experience and even more perspective. I’m easy to work with, pay extreme attention to detail and care deeply about my work. I’m scared and excited to basically be starting over in a new country so right now, I’m just looking to get my foot in the door.

Thanks for the consideration and if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
