I'm a general assignment reporter at NPR affiliate, WABE News. Before that, I was a reporter at WFPL News in Louisville, Kentucky. I covered everything from the history of shanty boats on the Ohio River to racial disparities in gifted and talented enrollment.
In 2018, I got a travel grant from the Pulitzer Center to report on food and global health in Nigeria. In 2015, I was an International Women’s and Media Foundation fellow; I reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
I'm originally from Queens, New York and always on the hunt for a good Jamaican beef patty. Or a donut.
