I oversee the production and strategy for all podcasts at Girlboss, as well as the conceptualization and rollout of limited-run podcasts we co-develop with brand partners like Sephora Collection, TUMI, and TRESemmé.

Weekly Show Production:
-Regularly script + produce weekly podcast episodes, interview-style format (Girlboss Radio)
-Work closely with host on prep before interviews and provide feedback during recording sessions
-Provide line edits and editorial feedback on all episodes to production team
-Script ad reads and episode wraps for host reads

New Show Development:
-Conceptualize and execute new, limited-run podcasts, from ideation to finished product
-Experience working with brand partners on launch of limited-run podcasts
-Examples include: In Progress (TUMI), #LIPSTORIES (Sephora Collection) and Mentor Memos (TRESemmé)
-Advise on greater marketing strategy for podcasts across brand channels
-Analyze and provide strategic feedback on podcasting analytics
-Serve as liaison between internal and external teams on all podcasting matters

My background:
I'm a journalist by trade and have worked as a reporter, staff writer and editor at digital media publications, with a particular focus on women and the Latinx community. I got my M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and focused my studies there on radio reporting and production. I'm first-generation Mexican-American.
