I'm a long-time reporter for WNYC with a knack for earning people’s trust to report out sensitive stories. While I regularly produce 4- and 7-minute stories for the radio, I consider myself well-suited to long-form journalism. I enjoy the process of learning about stuff: I prefer to start a reporting project with a dive into research, or lots of conversations with sources, to figure out the best place to start my own reporting. I am a deep thinker; I traffic in big ideas; and I take care in structuring a narrative and in writing scripts. I'm not okay with reporting that is ahistorical, and I strive to bring historical perspective to my work.
